Data Scientist - Marketing / GA4 - Hybrid WorkingOur client are currently looking to hire a Marketing Data Scientist with DataBricks and Python experience to join the team on a contract basis. This role would be hybrid working, with the client site based in London. In this role you will: Provide solutions to high value business and systems problems using data analysis, data mining, optimisation tools, and machine learning techniques and statistics.Design, execute, and analyse marketing experiments including creative, audience and channel testing to enable the the continual improvement of marketing effectiveness.Develop, manage and calibrate a multi-touch / MMM attribution model that replaces our reliance on last-click data to help us optimise our marketing investments.Develop predictive models that identify key signals correlated with acquisition, churn and cross-sell so that we can prioritise opportunities for optimisation.Create and present bespoke analysis, drawing clear and actionable conclusions and suggestions for improvement.Design processes to formally set up our Data Science service in collaboration with the team to deliver against agreed priorities.Deliver quick working prototypes to prove hypotheses by building complex statistical models using a range of tools including Python and Spark.Key Knowledge and Experience:2+ years Marketing Data Science experienceProven experience in developing statistical models like Bayesian Algorithms, Multitouch Attribution, Regression, GLM, Neural Networks, Decision Trees, and Affinity Analysis.Proven experience in developing models in Python.Experience developing and applying A/B testing frameworksExperience with GA4Experience in carrying out complex analysis using various data sources and typesExperience of delivering projects in an agile environment using tools such as GIT, JIRA and DevOpsUnderstanding of core statistical concepts and their applications when working with dataProven track record in the delivery of actionable customer intelligence to both technical and non-technical audiences.Knowledge of GDPR and likely implications on data managementExperience with the Databricks platform and its key features such as creating workflows and interacting with data within the Unity CatalogThe ability to design and deliver technical solutions to business problems using our dataA passion for working analysing data and developing statistical modelsExperience of analytics, data science and BI approaches and technologiesIf this role would be a good fit for your skills and experience, please apply!
