Job Description

This role involves leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to optimize renewable energy assets, specifically focusing on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The Data Scientist will support the development of a data platform, integrate asset data, develop management dashboards, and collaborate with the Control Desk to monitor asset performance and compliance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining data platforms and visualization tools.
  • Supporting the Control Desk in KPI identification and performance improvements.
  • Automating scheduling and reporting processes.
  • Ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Providing insights for asset performance optimization and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), time-series analysis, machine learning, SQL, and cloud platforms.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for renewable energy and sustainability.
