Job Title: Data Scientist - £45-50k - West Midlands - Hybrid Role

We’re seeking a Data Scientist specialising in Pricing & Revenue Management to help establish a solid foundation for our revenue management practices. In this vital role, you will contribute to the growth of the business by generating insights and recommendations that unlock significant value.
What You’ll Do:
As an integral member of our clients team, you will:
- Support the Senior Data Scientist in developing their Revenue Management System.
- Provide accurate inputs for revenue forecasting to guide decision-making.
- Conduct analyses that support the development of advanced models for algorithmic pricing strategies.
- Perform robust testing, including simulations and A/B tests, to assess the impact of your analyses.
- Assist in providing actionable insights for cluster revenue managers in hotels and help inform strategies to increase market share in our pubs.
What We’re Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- A solid understanding of pricing challenges, revenue management, and data science concepts (e.g., demand forecasting, optimisation, pricing strategies, inventory management, sampling, testing, stochastic processes, and Bayesian inference).
- A degree in a quantitative field (BSc or MSc in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline).
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent statistical modelling abilities.
- Knowlege of working with Revenue Management Systems is essential
- Experience with forecasting and optimisation techniques.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sectors such as airlines, hotels, retail, car rental, or e-commerce would be advantageous.
