Cheltenham or London (50%+ WFH; the rest is spent in your closest office or visiting clients). Will gain a security clearance (must be eligible).

Role Summary

My client are a fast-growing SME supplying data and cyber security services to public and private sectors. They are looking to hire a Data Scientist to join the team and support on a range of projects for various clients and sectors. This role involves working on important government projects, so you will gain a security clearance (must be eligible).

Responsibilities
  • Apply data science methods on projects across government and private sectors
  • Act as a go-to figure for junior staff in Data Science
  • Engage in client-facing advisory or consultancy work
  • Work with technologies such as Python (and other coding languages), cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and database technologies (SQL or NoSQL)
  • Contribute to project delivery and client solutions
Requirements
  • Experience in Data Science in a professional environment with junior mentorship responsibilities
  • Confident speaker with client-facing or consultancy experience
  • Strong proficiency in Python, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL)
