A rapidly growing e-commerce company are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join their team on a remote basis, with occasional travel to their offices on the South Coast - as such, this role is open to candidates across the UK.

Your main focus will be developing data-led strategies and predictive models to help identify and measure potential risks, and then put appropriate mitigation strategies in place. You'll be working closely with teams across the business to build models, analytics tools, and reports that drive smart decision-making and proactive risk management.

Responsibilities will include:

Build models to simulate risk scenarios and help identify, assess, and quantify risks.
Analyse complex datasets to spot trends, patterns, and potential risk indicators.
Translate data insights into practical strategies to reduce risk exposure.
Create dashboards and reports to communicate risk insights across the business.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure clean, accurate, and usable data.
Monitor and update models to stay effective in a changing risk landscape.Requirements:

Scripting skills in SQL and Python
Experience with statistical analysis
Experience with machine learning frameworks
Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI tools
Experience within risk management would be highly desirableBenefits:
