Job Title: Data Scientist
Type: Permanent
Location: Cambridge, UK

Brief:
To develop complex data analysis, interpretation and visualization using our data.
Collaborate with software team to build production algorithms part of our IOT platform.
To support any laboratory activity such corrosion experiments to expand our database and generate more accurate algorithms.

Responsibilities:
Working independently and alongside the technology team you develop new features and models for the analytics platform of our products.
Using analytical, statistical or machine learning techniques to interpret field and laboratory sensor data for detection and prediction of industrial asset integrity.
Translate Risk Base Inspection standards to real time algorithm integrated with our monitoring systems.
Client reports generation, with data insights and advisory to our clients
Building strong relationships, communicating and collaborating with clients and colleagues
Undertake pre-processing of structured and unstructured data.
Analyse large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
Develop unit test
Deliver working software according the “good code” standard of the company
Documentation of the algorithms and data processing methods

Key Requirements:
MSc or PhD in science, mathematics, or engineering
Python (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Scikit-Learn, scikit-rf, SciPy)
MS SQL Server, SQLite
Advance Excel, prototyping UIs and algos.
Agile/Scrum methodology and framework
Jira software
GitLab
Lab experiments design and development
Knowledge and experience in data analytics (statistics, predictive analytics, machine
learning)
Knowledge of signal processing techniques (frequency and time series analysis,
frequency and time transforms, filters, de-noising techniques, wavelets)
