About this Data Analyst role

As a Data Analyst, you interpret data and produce reports using SQL and SSRS methodologies to provide insight into consumer behaviour using data provided from web activity, purchasing activity and any other means relevant to provide feedback on how to continue improving the customer experience and where to best focus future company efforts.

What is expected of you as a Data Analyst with our client?

  • Ideally 3+ years’ experience working as a Data Analyst
  • Experience of working as a Data Analyst within a customer driven environment such as retail and e-commerce is preferred but not essential
  • A strong academic background with a degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • A high level of proficiency using SQL, SSRS and Advanced Excel
  • Expert knowledge of Data Analysis Techniques such as Machine Learning and NLP Modelling
  • The ability to work individually and within a team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to explain complex computer science theories to people with varying levels of data literacy within the organisation

Responsibilities of a Data Analyst with our client

  • Review and validate data accuracy
  • Prepare reports and presentations to deliver business insights to those with varying levels of tech literacy
  • Develop and test SQL reports
  • Wider analysis including scenario modelling and impact analysis
  • Work with a problem-solving attitude and an inquisitorial nature to understand the importance of your work
  • Manage your own project
