A leading Data Analytics software company based in the City of London are seeking a VP of Data to lead data strategy, deliver advanced insights, and support key business data decisions.

The Role:

You will lead the data analytics function, providing strategic direction and managing data infrastructure. Your team will drive business intelligence, data science, predictive analytics, and reporting to ensure data is effectively used across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing data analytics team.
• Oversee data infrastructure.
• Deliver insights through advanced analytics, machine learning, and predictive models.
• Collaborate with teams to identify data-driven opportunities.
• Ensure data governance, privacy, and security.
• Develop a long-term data strategy.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years experience in data analytics with 5+ years in leadership roles.
• Expertise in data analytics tools (SQL, Python, R) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• A strong understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools and technologies
• Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop
• Strong skills in advanced analytics, BI tools, and data visualization.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
