Data Science Manager – Pricing Focus



  • London (Hybrid – 2 days/week in office)

I am working with a high-growth, sustainability-led e-commerce business is looking for a Data Science Manager to lead the transformation of its data function, starting with a pivotal focus on pricing strategy. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a brand-new role, shape best practice, and deliver high-impact data science products in a business undergoing exciting growth and change.


The Opportunity

  • Lead the design and delivery of data science products from end-to-end — from data cleaning through to deployment.
  • Take immediate ownership of pricing models and strategy, then expand remit to wider commercial applications.
  • Build best practices, coach and develop a small but capable team, and be hands-on with coding when needed.
  • Play a key role in a transformation journey, reporting directly into a senior leader with extensive analytics experience.

Your Team

You will manage 4 direct reports:



  • Data Scientist (new hire)
  • Principal Data Scientist
  • Senior Data Scientist
  • Senior Data Analyst

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven track record in pricing or revenue management data science within a commercial environment.
  • Highly proficient in Python and SQL, with an understanding of ML engineering and deployment.
  • Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership.
  • Strong communicator who can be direct, efficient, and collaborative across functions.
  • Comfortable in a fast-changing, evolving environment with developing infrastructure.
