About the role:

Join our dynamic team as a Data Product Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering cutting-edge data solutions to the fundraising sector. Leading a team of engineers you will own development of new and existing features through all aspects of the product's life cycle, including development of product vision, execution of roadmap, and delivery to end-users. Working to establish real-time data capabilities, this role is for a candidate willing to embrace machine learning algorithms, and enhanced API functionalities to empower charities with actionable insights and advanced analytics. 

What you'll do:

  • The Data Product Manager is responsible for overseeing data specific product requirements across the user experience on JustGiving as well as internal tooling and reporting. 

  • Data Analysis & Insights – Development of key charity reporting features to help charities uncover key insights, identify trends in fundraising behaviour, and optimize donor engagement strategies.  

  • Real-Time Reporting – Building towards a time when charities have instant access to up-to-date, localized fundraising data, enabling timely, informed decision-making. 

  • API Integration – Your work will support seamless integrations of our Data API with leading CRM systems, providing charities with fast and reliable access to their data. 

  • Bespoke Research & Analytics - Lead custom data research projects for  internal and external stakeholders 

  • Infrastructure Collaboration – Lead your Data team to leverage recent infrastructure upgrades, ensuring the platform remains scalable, reliable, and compliant.  

What you'll bring:

  • Proven product management experience of 2+ years including end to end product delivery including execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch. 

  • Proven ability to collaborate closely with engineering, production, marketing, and sales teams in the development, QA, and release of products, and balance resources to ensure success for the entire organization 

  • Solid understanding of APIs and third party integrations 

  • Familiarity with machine learning and AI-driven analytics. 

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable strategies for non-technical stakeholders. 

  • A passion for using data to drive social good. 

  • Has sufficient technical background to be able to troubleshoot, conduct discovery and test features. 

  • Experience working in Agile and Scrum practices, ideally in the role of a Product Owner. Ability to use techniques to gather and translate business needs to Engineering teams
