Summary

As a Data Orientated Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analysing complex data to inform business decisions and drive operational improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven insights, define business requirements, and develop solutions that support business goals. Your ability to interpret and communicate data insights will help guide decision-making and strategic initiatives across the organisation. 


Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into data-driven solutions. 

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business optimisation. 

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to monitor business performance. 

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability. 

• Work with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability. 

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, workflows, and data processes. 

• Support data governance initiatives and ensure adherence to best practices in data management. 

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a strong focus on data analysis and reporting. 

• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and Power BI (or other BI tools). 

• Strong understanding of data modelling, data visualisation, and KPI development. 

• Ability to understand the story the data contains, simply share this with stakeholders and make clear, actionable business recommendations. 

• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with both technical and non-technical teams. 

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. 

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, or a related field
