A leading Bristol-based company is seeking a Data Engineering and Science Team Leader to oversee the IoT Data Specialists. This role involves collaborating with IoT Specialists and business stakeholders to prototype and deliver IoT data proof-of-value agile experiments, manage larger projects, and maintain live systems both on-premise and in the cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership in Data Evaluation:Lead the evaluation and review of data engineering and data science methods, tools, and standards within the organisation.
• Testing Oversight:Plan, design, and conduct unit tests on models and algorithms, collaborating with the QA team to correct defects and achieve error-free results.
• Performance Testing:Lead the planning and execution of performance and usability tests to ensure solutions are effective and user-friendly.
• Technical Specification Review:Review technical specifications from suppliers and IT partners to maintain expected quality standards.
• Standards Maintenance:Collaborate with Technical and Solution Architects to establish and uphold standards, patterns, and designs.
