About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at LexisNexis Intellectual Property (LNIP), you will be designing, building, and maintaining complex data systems to support business needs. Utilizing your expertise, you’ll contribute to maintaining a Data Platform that serves our crucial and critical product. Your role will be critical in ensuring the integrity, security, and accessibility of business-critical data..

Responsibilities
- Work across our ecosystem of products and Data Platforms.
- Collaborate with technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.
- Develop and maintain data infrastructure supporting real-time data processing.
- Implement scalable data ingestion and pipelines for unified data management.
- Apply development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.
- Design APIs for diverse business units, ensuring efficient data lineage tracking.
- Utilize DataOps principles to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Automate system lifecycle management for robustness and scalability.
- Integrate advanced data engineering techniques and tools to streamline processes.
- Resolve technical issues as necessary.
- Stay updated with new technology developments.
Requirements
- Experience in SQL Server, Data Lake (Azure/AWS).
- Proficiency in Python
- Extensive modern Data Engineering experience.
- Knowledge of large-scale data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake) and cloud-native tools (Azure Synapse, RedShift).
- Familiarity with software development methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, and Agile.
- Experience with analytics technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
- Test-driven development experience.
Nice to Have
- Understanding of Clickhouse, Druid, PostgreSQL, Databricks, Delta Share & Delta Lake.
- Ability to work with complex Patent and Litigation data models.
- Experience with Pandas & PySpark
