Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? Do you have a strong technical foundation in data engineering and want to play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven journey?

As a Data Engineer, you’ll join our Data Governance and Data Engineering team to design, build, and optimize data structures and pipelines within our on-premises and cloud (Microsoft Azure) environments. You’ll work with state-of-the-art cloud-based technologies to support analytics and data-led decision-making across the organization. Occasionally, you may also step in for the Lead Data Engineer to collaborate with stakeholders on key projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentorship:Support and guide junior data engineers, ensuring solutions are efficient, reliable, and add business value.
• Project Design & Implementation:Lead data engineering projects on both cloud and on-premise stacks, ensuring compliance with architectural and data security standards.
• Collaboration:Work with cross-functional teams, including Data Science, Business Intelligence, and IT Services, to implement comprehensive data solutions.
• Innovation:Stay informed on new techniques and technologies in data engineering, suggesting and implementing improvements to enhance business outcomes.

Your Skills & Experience

Essential:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Around 5 years of experience in data management, architecture, or platform management
• Expertise in cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Proficient in T-SQL programming, data pipeline design, and data security methods

Desirable:

• Knowledge of AI/ML model management, agile project management, and financial operations within the cloud
