Job Title: Data Engineer
Location: Nelson, Lancashire + Flexible Hybrid WFH 4 days a week
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Strong Benefits Package

We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our client growing Data Science team and help them shape the future of their internal and external data infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud based ETL pipelines to ingest and transform data from various sources
Work with large datasets to ensure data integrity, quality, and availability across platforms
Optimize and manage data workflows in AWS (S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, etc.)
Write clean, efficient SQL for complex data transformations and analytics
Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools for data processing and automation
Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insightsWhat Their Looking For

Strong experience with AWS cloud services related to data (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda)
Proven expertise in ETL/ELT pipeline design and implementation
Excellent proficiency in SQL - ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
Solid programming skills in Python with experience in data wrangling and scripting
Familiarity with data modeling, warehouse design, and version control (e.g., Git)
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindsetDesirable Experience

Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow or AWS Step Functions
Familiarity with data lake and data mesh architectures
Exposure to containerization (Docker) and CI/CD practicesContact:
