Data EngineerInitial 6 month FTCHybrid (Once a month onsite every couple of months)Your Role as a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include:Working on the mainstay programme (moving from Dynamics AX to D365)Implementing and managing a new Data Lakehouse using the latest technologies on a daily basisUtilising technologies such as Data Integration, Master's Data, and Data Science/Analytics.Applying best practices to leverage platform capabilities for system integration and master data management.Collaborating with Analysis teams to provide data and analytical outputs.About YouWe are seeking candidates with experience in:Data or Analytics platforms (Data Management, Data Integration, Master Data, Data Migrations, data marts/warehouses).Handling complex ETL routines and tools.T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server.Databricks.Data modelling and data wrangling.Working with various data formats and protocols (JSON, XML, CSV, Parquet, structured and unstructured data).Working with APIs (beneficial).Understanding the software development lifecycle and familiarity with agile environments.Using source control and task management tools, with a preference for GitHub experience.
