Role Overview

As aData specialist, you will design and build data models to meet the strategic data needs of public sector clients, aligning with guidelines set by chief data architects. You will take ownership of data architecture, ensuring that data management practices comply with public sector standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture Design: Define, maintain, and manage the organisation's data technology architecture, including metadata, integration, business intelligence, and data warehouse architecture.
• Lifecycle Management: Guide the upgrade, management, decommissioning, and archiving of data in compliance with public sector data policies.
• Data Modelling: UseErwin Data Modellerto design and support data models that meet business requirements.
• Databricks Expertise: Implement solutions usingDatabricksfor advanced analytics, data engineering, and machine learning.
• Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders to gather requirements and provide insights, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
• Data Governance: Contribute to the development of data dictionaries and ensure that governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained.
