Anson McCade are delighted to be partnering with a innovative digital transformation consultancy as they seek to appoint a Data Architect to their growing teams in the United Kingdom. Our client work closely with varied clients delivering large-scale technical transformation projects this role will specifically focus within financial services.


As Solutions Architect you will join a dynamic group contributing to a wide variety of projects, utilise your existing impressive experience to deliver excellent business solutions for leading clients across the United Kingdom


Key Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in all areas of data, analytics, and AI, including strategy, governance, management, architecture, and system implementation.
  • Extensive experience in financial services, with a proven track record of transforming data management operating models and implementing data systems throughout the project and information lifecycle. This includes creating artefacts and views to communicate needs and designs at every stage.
  • Ability to design and deliver tailored data architecture solutions that meet client and stakeholder needs, aligned with governance frameworks and target operating models.
  • Strong understanding and application of data methodologies and frameworks, such asDCAM and DAMA DMBoK.
  • Experience in key data-centric areas such as AI, Generative AI (GenAI), MLOps, Business Intelligence, Analytics, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Governance, Data Mesh/Marketplace, and Data Products.
  • Knowledge of information management and regulatory policies, including GDPR,privacy laws, BCBS239, and the EU AI Act.
  • Familiarity with data architecture patterns and technologies, such as data lakes, relational databases, graph databases, and operational data stores.
  • In-depth knowledge of data, analytics, and AI capabilities offered by major cloud providers like AWS, Google, and Microsoft, as well as leading tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, and Collibra.
