We have an exciting opportunity for anexperienced individual to join our Data Research and Insight hub.The successful applicant will be working primarily with datagenerated through our registration and revalidationprocesses.
Working with a range of data this role givesyou the opportunity to build on your existing analyticalcommunication and problemsolving skills to respond to a variety ofrequests for information from across the GMC and our externalcustomers.
You will work with colleagues across multipledirectorates and with our experienced team of data analystsstatistical experts researchers and report writers to ensure theinformation we produce is relevant robust and accurate. The workyou produce will help the GMC to effectively manage and monitorregistration and revalidation and support other business areas toensure a fair and inclusive experience for practitioners andpatients.
Successful applicants will be expected to work aminimum of one day a fortnight in the office with the option toattend more regularly depending on personal preference. Through theinduction period there is an expectation that you will attend theoffice more frequently.

• Thisrole would particularly suit someone with an active interest indata analysis a keen attention to detail and an appreciation of howeffective data and reporting can make a positive impact on decisionmaking.
• As part of our ongoing investment indeveloping our capabilities around data were in the process ofmoving our reporting across to Power BI so this is a particularlyexciting time to join the team. The role will also provide thesuccessful candidate ample opportunities to build on their existingskills and develop project management experience with a range ofexciting and collaborative projects.
• The roleinvolves analysing and interpreting information from a range ofsources but will predominately be focussed on using the datagenerated through our registration and revalidation processes.Working with colleagues you will be responsible for producing andquality assuring our regular reporting and responding to a widerange of ad hocqueries.
