About the Role


As aData & AI Lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our data-driven initiatives and delivering innovative solutions to clients leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will lead a team of data professionals, oversee the development and implementation of data strategies, and drive the adoption of AI and ML technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy and Vision:Develop and execute comprehensive data strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and client needs.
  • Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Data Architecture and Engineering:Design and implement robust data architectures, including data lakes, data warehouses, and data pipelines on GCP.
  • AI and ML:Leverage AI and ML technologies to solve complex business problems, develop predictive models, and automate processes.
  • Generative AI:Explore and implement generative AI solutions, such as natural language processing and image generation, to drive innovation.
  • Client Delivery:Collaborate with client teams to understand their data challenges and deliver tailored solutions, leveraging GCP's capabilities.
  • Thought Leadership:Provide thought leadership and consulting services to clients and internal stakeholders on data-related topics.
  • Technology Adoption:Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data technologies and advocate for their adoption within the organization.


Qualifications

  • (Mandatory) 2:1 Degree educated in Computer, Science or Technology related degree;
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, machine learning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing data teams.
  • Expertise in data engineering, data warehousing, and data governance.
  • Strong proficiency in AI and ML algorithms and techniques.
  • Experience with generative AI frameworks and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise explanations.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consulting or professional services.
  • Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and its data-related services.
  • Certifications related to Google Cloud Platform or data science.
  • Contributions to open-source data projects or communities.
