Data Analyst - Threat Intelligence - £80K+

Our client is a leading (and growing!) software as a service (SaaS) development company and consultancy, working with client around the world, delivering cutting edge information security and cybercrime solutions.

In their central Product and Research team they’re looking to hire an experienced Data Scientist / Analyst to work on Threat Intelligence research and consulting.

You’ll have real ownership of your work and work directly with clients and engineering teams to deliver tactical insights through technical threat analysis covering phishing, malicious JavaScript, scams, and more.

Day to day, you’ll have the chance to be involved in the review of technical attack data, phishing kits and metadata, monitoring the global threat landscape and industry trends, preparing strategic assessments of current threats and technical whitepapers and delivering expert advice to clients and customers – A very varied role!

Requirements:

• Strong experience in data analysis, intelligence, insights and reporting
• Threat intelligence and Information Security experience
• Great skills across SQL, Excel etc
• The ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Broad experience with cybersecurity threat hunting
• An understanding of computer networks and the internet infrastructure landscape
• Familiarity with prevalent attacker TTPs and MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Any programming experience in scripting languages (PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl) is ideal
