Sellick Partnership are delighted to be supporting our client based in Newcastle upon Tyne to appoint a Data Analyst on a permanent basis.

The Data Analyst will be responsible for delivering a high-quality analytical services, advice and support for the wider team. You will be able to identify improvement opportunities and provide guidance to support service delivery.

You will be present, collate and analyse data to support informed decision making across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Undertaking analytical activities on a range of software tools to help inform business decisions.
Supporting the application of the latest technologies and techniques including machine learning to help improve the business understanding of available data.
Delivery of statistical, data modelling and research analysis to support the delivery of tasks and projects through insights.
Communication of analytical findings to senior stakeholders to ensure data-led decision making.
Automation of repetition tasks to improve operational efficiencies.
Undertaking root cause analysis to better understand business problems and working with stakeholders to develop data-led solutions.What we are looking for:

Proven experience of research, report writing and analysis.
Understanding of data quality and governance practices.
Experience of building reports in Power BI.
Good working knowledge of coding languages such as SQL, Python and R.
Proficient in data methodologies, techniques and tools.
Experience of ensuring best data quality through validating, cleansing and monitoring dataset's content.This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing data team within a forward thinking organisation. Please apply by Friday 30th May to be considered for this opportunity.
