We’re a global, FTSE -listed company made up of a collection of progressive fintech brands in the world of online trading and investing. The best part? We’ve snapped up many awards for our top-class platforms, forward-thinking products, and incredible employee experiences.

We believe in financial freedom. And our purpose is to help ambitious people achieve it. Around , people use our groundbreaking technology and forward-thinking platforms to trade the financial products they know and love.

Did we mention we have offices in countries? Yes, when you join IG Group, you'll have the chance to work across multiple brands, with people all over the world. Join us for an exciting future and let’s innovate together!

Your role in the Team

The CRM team's vision is to craft CRM programmes that deliver engaging, personalised client experiences across multichannel touchpoints throughout the client lifecycle.

To deliver on this ambition, we are looking for a data-driven CRM Manager to lead the development, execution and performance management of our CRM programmes. Our aim is to create data-led communications across our clients' lifecycle that positively impact on conversion, retention, and client growth.

The role will report into the Head of Client Engagement & Martech, and will work closely with CRM Analytics, Data Science, Marketing Intelligence, Product, Technology and other marketing teams to execute on our strategy

What you’ll do

In this role, you'll be the architect behind our future-state CRM strategy, designing immersive journeys across all our communication channels. We're aiming for best-in-class, continuously optimised campaigns and journeys that put our clients at the heart of everything we do.

You'll also cntribute to our CRM data strategy, leveraging insights to supercharge our CRM programs. We need someone who can explore client and commercial data in depth, and surface innovative, impactful recommendations that will contribute to an immersive, personalised experience for our clients.

Measuring and managing performance is crucial to our success. You'll own our performance measurement and management, ensuring we have a robust and reliable reporting framework that will make our monthly, quarterly, and annual reports truly valuable.

Of course, we know you're a creative thinker, but we also need you to be our brand guardian, ensuring all our communications are consistent and aligned with IG's brand guidelines and experience principles. You'll also play a key role in educating the wider UK team about the importance and impact of CRM, leveraging your excellent communication skills to make the complex simple.

You'll bring a customer-centric mindset to the table, always keeping the needs, preferences, and behaviours of our clients at the forefront of your decisions. You'll collaborate closely with various teams across the organization, including marketing, sales, IT, and data, to ensure successful implementation and alignment of our CRM initiatives.

Who we’re looking for?

You’re curious about things like the client experience, the rapid developments in tech, and the complex world of fintech regulation. You’re also a confident, creative thinker with a knack for innovating. We know that you know every problem has a solution. Here, you can try new ideas, and lead the way in creating inspiring experiences for our clients and everyone around you.

We don’t fit the corporate stereotype. If you want to work for a traditional, suit-and-tie corporate that just gives you a pay cheque at the end of the month, we might not be for you. But, if you have that IG Group energy and you can stand behind what we believe in, let’s raise the bar together.

What you’ll need for this role

Proven experience in managing end to end CRM campaigns, from planning and desgin to execution A strong background in developing insight-driven, cross-channel CRM strategies, and creating and managing CRM performance Strong analytical skills and proficiency in CRM tools and technologies (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Movable Ink, Mailgun Optimise) Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Project management skills to plan, execute, and manage complex CRM projects from start to finish A customer-centric mindset and deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and behaviours Adaptability and flexibility in the face of change, with an openness to new ideas and approaches A collaborative and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work closely with various teams across the organisation Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws Bonus points for experience in a regulated retail financial environment

How you’ll grow

When you join IG Group, we want you to have more than a job – we want you to have a career. And you can. If you spot an opportunity, we want you to chase it. Stretch yourself, challenge your self-beliefs and go for the things you dream of. With internal and external learning opportunities, and the tools to help you skyrocket to success, we’ll support you all the way.

And these opportunities truly are endless because we have some bold targets. We plan to expand our global presence, increase revenue growth, and ultimately deliver the world’s best trading experience. We’d love to have you along for the ride.

The perks

It really is more than a job. We’ll recognize your talent and make sure that you can still have a life – at work, and outside of it. Networks, committees, awards, sports and social clubs, mentorships, volunteering opportunities, extra time off… the list goes on.

Competitive salary Flexible benefits package on top of our salary (%) Private medical cover Life insurance Days holiday, with an additional day for your birthday and volunteer days per annum The option to buy and sell holidays Unlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning platform Employee-led LGBTQ+, Women's, Black and Parents and Carers networks that fosters an open and inclusive culture Option to participate and create ESG initiatives based on IG Brighter Future Fund Enhanced primary (maternity), secondary (paternity), and shared parental pay and leave, as well as a range of support and benefits for parents Enhanced carers leave offering

Where you’ll work

We follow a hybrid working model; we reckon it’s the best of both worlds. This model also feeds into our secret ingredients for innovation: diversity, flexibility, and close connection.

Plus, you’ll be welcomed into a diverse and inclusive workforce with a lot of creative energy.

Ask our employees what their favorite thing is about working at IG, and you’ll hear an echo of

AI Recruitment Trends 2025 (UK): What Job Seekers Must Know About Today’s Hiring Process

Summary: UK AI hiring has shifted from titles & puzzle rounds to skills, portfolios, evals, safety, governance & measurable business impact. This guide explains what’s changed, what to expect in interviews, and how to prepare—especially for LLM application, MLOps/platform, data science, AI product & safety roles. Who this is for: AI/ML engineers, LLM engineers, data scientists, MLOps/platform engineers, AI product managers, applied researchers & safety/governance specialists targeting roles in the UK.

Why AI Careers in the UK Are Becoming More Multidisciplinary

Artificial intelligence is no longer a single-discipline pursuit. In the UK, employers increasingly want talent that can code and communicate, model and manage risk, experiment and empathise. That shift is reshaping job descriptions, training pathways & career progression. AI is touching regulated sectors, sensitive user journeys & public services — so the work now sits at the crossroads of computer science, law, ethics, psychology, linguistics & design. This isn’t a buzzword-driven change. It’s happening because real systems are deployed in the wild where people have rights, needs, habits & constraints. As models move from lab demos to products that diagnose, advise, detect fraud, personalise education or generate media, teams must align performance with accountability, safety & usability. The UK’s maturing AI ecosystem — from startups to FTSE 100s, consultancies, the public sector & universities — is responding by hiring multidisciplinary teams who can anticipate social impact as confidently as they ship features. Below, we unpack the forces behind this change, spotlight five disciplines now fused with AI roles, show what it means for UK job-seekers & employers, and map practical steps to future-proof your CV.

AI Team Structures Explained: Who Does What in a Modern AI Department

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) are no longer confined to research labs and tech giants. In the UK, organisations from healthcare and finance to retail and logistics are adopting AI to solve problems, automate processes, and create new products. With this growth comes the need for well-structured teams. But what does an AI department actually look like? Who does what? And how do all the moving parts come together to deliver business value? In this guide, we’ll explain modern AI team structures, break down the responsibilities of each role, explore how teams differ in startups versus enterprises, and highlight what UK employers are looking for. Whether you’re an applicant or an employer, this article will help you understand the anatomy of a successful AI department.
