The Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence (CFI), University of Cambridge, is inviting applications for a Communications & Alumni Engagement Coordinator to support the operation of CFI through strategic planning and implementation of communications and engagement activities.

The role largely focuses on raising the profile of the centre and managing a portfolio of events, websites, newsletters, and social media channels. This includes the development of an alumni engagement programme and continuous improvement of internal planning for communications activities across all the centre's research and education programmes. The role holder will be expected to act as advisor on communications across ITH and support others in the Core Team to uphold best practice.

You should have demonstrable experience of developing and implementing communications strategies, as well as monitoring and evaluating engagement. Applicants should be able to work independently and collaboratively, whilst demonstrating an understanding of the goals of CFI.

The appointment will be until 31st March 2027 in the first instance and is based in Cambridge.

CFI is a highly interdisciplinary research centre addressing the challenges and opportunities posed by artificial intelligence (AI), in both the short and long term. CFI is based at the University of Cambridge, with partners in Imperial College London, and UC Berkeley, and close links with industry and policymakers.
