Salary: £33,000-£36,000 per annum (£17-£18.50 per hour) + overtime @ 1.33x
Location: Luton, Bedfordshire
Hours: 8.00-16.30 Monday to Thursday, 8.00-15.30 Fridays
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

The Client

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and family-owned precision engineering firm based in Luton on their search for a skilled CNC Turner & Programmer to join their growing team. Our client has been producing precise components for an array of industries for over 40 years and are looking for a new highly skilled CNC Turner & Programmer to join their busy team.

The Benefits

  • £33,000-£36,000 salary dependent on experience - £17-£18.50 per hour
  • 28 Days holiday including bank holiday
  • Overtime paid at 1.33x

The Role

  • Programming, Setting and Operating multi-axis Miyano, Doosan and Star CNC machinery to produce precise components to tight tolerances.
  • Use of Manual Machines to produce parts as required.
  • You will produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances.
  • Produce an array of components for a variety of industries
  • Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings to produce components using a variety of material.
  • Programming Fanuc controlled CNC lathes to ensure components are produced to tight tolerances efficiently.

The Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with CNC Turning machinery (essential)
  • Previous experience working with Fanuc controls (essential)
  • Previous experience using Miyano, Doosan and/or STAR machinery (advantageous)
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Willingness to train and progress
