CNC Programmer

Oxford

£21 per hour

My client provides high precision CNC Milling/Turning and ancillary services to a variety of high-tech industries including Formula 1, Nuclear Safety and Science & Technology. They are currently on the lookout for a CNC Programmer to join their ever-growing team based in Oxford.

You will be responsible to produce and provide part programs, setting information and tooling information to the shop floor, managing the techniques and equipment used to enable effective changeover from one job to the next.

Key Responsibilities – CNC Programmer

Experience and skill programming and setting CNC plant and creating part programs and methodology on CNC mills
Experience with HAAS machinery or FANUC code
Experience with EDGECAM CAD/CAM software
Used to working in a variety of materials and often to tight tolerances
Qualifications & Experience – CNC Programmer

To assist the planning and efficiency in the CNC sections.
Ensure all programs are saved and organised as per the company procedure
Plan and specify tooling requirement for production, including fixture and cutting tool list.
Ensure machining processes are optimised, particularly on large batches
Support and advise other employees when required, in machining and programming techniques.
Assist sales with technical advice, simulations & recommendations
Working to established and developing company procedures in a continuously improving environment.
