Clinical Secretary

Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of clinicians, enabling clinicians to operate effectively and efficiently. Work in accordance with standard operating procedures.

• SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus at experience in healthcare administration or experience in a secretarial role
• Understanding of medical terminology
• Evidence of effective team working and dealing with change
• Evidence of strong communication skills with patients, clinicians and colleagues.
• Excellent organisational skills
• Evidence of strong competence with relevant IT systems
• Audio typing skills

Please note for all vacancies where a driving licence is required this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or a secretarial role
• Able to modify and adapt communication style when communicating with patients, clinicians and colleagues.

This role will be based in Brain Injury Rehabilitation within Stonehouse Hospital
