Clinical Sales Specialist – Wound Closure – UK

As part of a team expansion project across the EU, IQVIA is recruiting for several field-based sales positions in France, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and the UK on behalf of our client - a highly respected global company renowned for its innovation and success within pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical device sectors. Territories available include:

North Midlands

South West England (Bristol area)

Central London

In these newly created roles, you will be tasked with increasing uptake of an innovative range of sutures, focusing particularly on orthopaedic procedures including hip and knee joint replacement surgeries, helping surgeons and the wider theatre team understand the benefits of adopting this new technology versus current practices, based on their needs. Working as part of a collaborative territory team, you will provide in-person product demonstrations and support suture trials within target hospital accounts, utilizing self-generated leads and those supplied by the company’s Inside Sales function. You will also contribute to a variety of activities to ensure hospital-wide success, including sharing customer insights, administrative tender processes, inventory management and troubleshooting.

Requirements:

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

Must have experience of working in the operating theatre environment in a similar product sales or clinical support role in Germany

Prior orthopaedic procedure knowledge and working relationships would be beneficial

Should have a good understanding of the local healthcare market

Outstanding communication and engagement skills, with a persistent, target focused, self motivated approach

Nursing qualification, or University degree (or equivalent) in healthcare, marketing, or a related discipline

Full UK driving licenseholder with the willingness to travel throughout your allocated region as required.
