About the Role:The team are looking for a skilled C++ Engineer that will be able to leverage their knowledge coupled with their expertise in “Regular Expression” (Regex) to assist in the recognition of search patterns for a mission critical, transformation project.

The ideal candidate will be able to leverage their Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence knowledge/experience to formulate innovative solutions posed by this project.

Responsibilities:

• Custom PDF Handling: Design custom algorithms to handle complex PDF structures, such as embedded fonts, annotations, and encrypted files.
• Optimize Extraction Processes: Optimize the performance of the extraction process to handle large volumes of PDFs efficiently.
• Integrate the PDF extraction logic into larger software systems or workflows, enabling automated batch processing of documents.
• API Development: Develop and expose APIs for other systems or teams to interact with the PDF extraction functionalities.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years C++ Development Experience
• Commercial experience with Regular Expression Language (Regex)
• Machine learning / Artificial Intelligence experience
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyse and debug problems in a fast-paced environment.
