As a Business Development representative, you will

  • Prospecting and Outreach: Research, identify and source new business leads using various channels (cold calling, email outreach, social media, and networking).
  • Lead generation: Initiate conversations with prospects, qualify potential customers by understanding their needs, pain points, and decision-making processes and schedule discovery calls or product demos for the sales team.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads and activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, product and marketing teams to align strategies and ensure effective follow-up on qualified leads.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities to better identify new business opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Experience: +2 years in a sales, lead generation, or business development role.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communications and interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work in diverse teams.
    • A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a passion for learning.
    • Strong research skills and ability to identify decision-makers.
    • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., pipedrive, sales navigator) and lead generation tools.
  • Languages: English is mandatory.
    • A second language is also mandatory (preferably: French or German). 
  • Location: Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country where the position is based.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced Experience: Prior experience on technical sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of market trends in AI, LLM, quantum computing and related technologies.
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus.
