We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to drive digital and technology projects within our diverse portfolio. In this role, you'll take charge of key business analysis functions, including mapping and designing current and new processes, conducting data analysis, gathering requirements, and compiling market and user research. You’ll use industry-leading tools, techniques, and methods to evaluate the feasibility and impact of new project ideas.

Essential:

• Extensive experience of working as a Business Analyst or User Researcher in multiple public sector and private sector organisations.
• Experience of working in or delivering digital, data and technology transformation in local government or large multi-layered service organisation.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including MS Project and MS Visio.
• Experience in a wide range of business analysis approaches and tools and selecting the more appropriate approaches and tools for each situation.
• Demonstrable experience of working and applying Agile methodology including experience of working with business systems and end to end delivery of projects using a range of methods including Sprint, Waterfall etc.
• Experience of gathering and writing business and user requirements including process mapping, user journeys, wireframes to articulate and solve complex problems.
• Experience developing project and programme business cases, including an understanding of the HM Treasury five case model and clear options analysis.
• Good understanding of Lean Systems Thinking and process review and its ability to deliver effective digital, data and technology outcomes for organisations and users.
• Knowledge and experience of emerging digital and technological developments, including artificial intelligence.
• Able to interact directly with senior stakeholders, facilitating and bringing the right people together to bring about digital, data and technology change.
