As Associate Director of Artificial Intelligence, you will lead and execute the company's AI strategy—driving initiatives that leverage Machine Learning, Generative AI, NLP, and more to foster business growth and operational excellence.

Role Scope

  • Identify opportunities and risks in a dynamic competitive landscape, using AI/ML to generate measurable business value.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies to assess risk and reward in technology adoption.
  • Manage AI initiatives from conception through to deployment and optimization in high-performance environments.
  • Create business cases to influence stakeholders and promote organization-wide AI adoption.
  • Equip delivery teams with the necessary tools, capabilities, and insights to embed AI at scale.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven leadership in AI, with a background in computer science, machine learning, data science, or related STEM fields (degree or equivalent experience).
  • Hands-on experience developing and deploying production-grade ML models, including advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
  • Deep expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, and Knowledge Graphs, with a record of translating complex models into practical solutions.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals, including DevOps, CI/CD, and secure ML/AI pipelines (DevSecOps).
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow.
  • Ability to address model hallucination, optimize performance, and oversee governance around AI risk and ethics.
