We are looking for a Full Stack AI Developer to build and enhance the AivaRevolution platform using Python for backend services and APIs for our AI-driven recruitment platform. You will work on full-stack projects with modern technologies, optimise system performance, and roll out new features. Alignment with product and design teams to create seamless, intuitive user experiences will be essential, and you will contribute to technical decisions, participate in architectural discussions, and engage in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement processes.

We are seeking a Full Stack AI Developer to focus on developing and enhancing the AivaRevolution platform using a variety of tools. Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python for our AI-driven recruitment platform. Collaborate on full-stack projects, solve complex technical challenges, optimise performance, and deliver new features.

Created by Alastair Winsey, AIVA combines real-world hospitality experience with advanced AI to deliver seamless, scalable automation that feels human. The platform manages guest conversations, bookings, payments, reminders, and more, all in the venue’s tone of voice and brand. AIVA enhances guest experiences, reduces administrative tasks, and improves commercial performance with real-time metrics and seamless integrations.

What will you bring?
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
  • Proven track record with Python backend development, APIs, and scalable services.
  • Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
  • A proven and demonstrable record of shipping high-quality production code in agile environments.
  • A passion for crafting great user experiences and the ability to reflect that passion in your work.
  • Comfortable building with AI tools and leveraging AI in development workflows to deliver faster and better outcomes.
Additional Brownie Points
  • Experience in technical architecture and decision-making; leading a team, startup or scale-up engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or notable personal projects.
  • Evidence of fundamentals with willingness to learn and adapt.
Location and Non-Negotiables

English language proficiency is essential, with ideally 2-3 years of experience. Preferred locations include Manchester, Oxford, Newcastle, Leeds, Bristol. Exceptional candidates from other UK locations will be considered.

  • Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks skills
  • Strong foundation in Computer Science
  • Experience in Software Development
  • Proficiency in Natural Language Processing (NLP)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in the hospitality industry or AI automation is a plus
  • Frontend: React, TypeScript
