Join us as an AI Engineer and use your skills in deep learning and computer vision to create smart AI systems for detecting foreign objects in X-ray inspections, mainly for the food and pharmaceutical industries. You'll tackle exciting challenges like spotting tiny contaminants—metal, glass, or bone fragments—and making sure AI models run smoothly and quickly on production lines. As our AI expert, you'll work closely with global teams to bring the latest AI technology into our inspection systems.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, train, and improve AI algorithms for detecting objects and segmenting images in grayscale X-ray scans.
  • Enhance AI models for better accuracy, reliability, and faster results.
  • Collect, label, and prepare X-ray data for training and testing AI models.
  • Research new AI methods like transformers and diffusion models for possible industrial use.
  • Develop anomaly detection models to find defects and contaminants.
  • Ensure secure and efficient data transfer between inspection systems and external devices in isolated environments.
  • Use model compression techniques to make AI models efficient without losing accuracy.
  • Customize AI models to meet food and pharmaceutical safety standards, detecting contaminants like metal, bone, glass, and plastic.
  • Align AI solutions with safety regulations such as HACCP, ISO, and FDA standards.
  • Collaborate with hardware teams to improve X-ray imaging quality.
  • Test AI models on-site and in labs to ensure they work well in real production.
  • Help prepare user manuals and regulatory documents following industry standards.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
  • Proven experience in deep learning model development using PyTorch and/or TensorFlow, with CUDA acceleration
  • Strong programming expertise in Python and C++, with practical knowledge of OpenCV and other vision libraries
  • Demonstrated proficiency in object detection and image segmentation frameworks (e.g., YOLO, U‑Net, Mask R‑CNN)
  • Experience with ONNX model conversion and deployment pipelines
  • Effective cross‑functional communicator, comfortable working across global teams and diverse technical disciplines
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
