Job Description: AI Operating Partner
Fractional Expectations: 2-3 days a week.
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days on site)
A Private Equity firm is seeking a Strategic AI Consultant to evaluate their portfolio's current technological capabilities and suggest opportunities for business improvement.
The role involves triaging their portfolio, building a GenAI Service Automation playbook, prioritizing deliverables, and leading AI implementation. The consultant will work across multiple functions within the PE firm, responsible for AI Due Diligence pre- and post-acquisition.
Key Responsibilities Develop a Gen AI Service Automation playbook for use across multiple portfolio companies
Identify, triage, and quantify high-impact AI opportunities
Prioritize and manage deliverables to maximize margin improvement and valuation growth
Collaborate with leadership teams to embed GenAI, AI, and machine learning into business operations
Work with technical teams to implement suggested changes
Responsible for Data and AI Due Diligence for M&A's
Provide strategic guidance on digital transformation and AI adoption
Required Experience Deep expertise in Gen AI implementation and strategic digital transformation projects
Strong track record of delivering measurable business impact through AI initiatives
Excellent strategic thinking, prioritization, and project management abilities
Excellent understanding of AI due diligence & governance for PE-backed businesses throughout the M&A lifecycle
Desired Experience Experience in an executive-level position
Technical background in data science or AI engineering
