Due to growth, we have anexciting role for an Accounting Application Support Engineer tojoin us on a fully remote basis. This role will play a crucial rolein our operations, responsible for maintaining and monitoring ourtechnology systems and data. We are looking for candidates withexperience with accounting applications including CCH, who ideallywould have either qualified as or worked as an accountant in thepast and is interested in data science / transitioning towards ananalyst type role. Your expertise in configuring andtroubleshooting applications is vital in providing resolutions forour people and clients, you will deliver continuous improvement andmanage change control over the systems they administer, a task thatis integral to our success. As an Accounting Application SupportEngineer you will be responsible for these systems and databasesperformance, integrity, and security. You will also be involved inplanning and development, managing system changes, troubleshootingany issues on behalf of the users, and providing key support duringsystems and data migrations . Key responsibilities of an AccountingApplication Support Engineer will include: monitor and optimise theperformance of critical systems manage aspects of the changeprocess for Technology systems utilising remote access technology,knowledge sources and diagnostic tools to resolve or triage ticketsto other teams or 3rd party suppliers constant Service Desk loggingsystem monitoring ensures that all incidents and requests areresolved or triaged within SLAs and KPIs you will be responsiblefor providing technical support to teams within the organisationand external clients when required. Your commitment to deliveringhigh-quality service is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation ofour systems assisting with systems integrations and data migrationsmanage ticketed query systems and keep a comprehensive database ofqueries and resolutions current maintaining and updating technicaldocuments and procedures identifying and resolving technical issuespreparing maintenance plans and upgrading schedules for theorganisations systems developing reports for teams across thebusiness. About you We are looking for candidates with thefollowing skills and experience: experience either in an accountingfield or as an accountant experience of using CCH is essential experience with supporting SharePoint applications hands-onexperience with database standards and end-user applications strongDBMS, in particular SQL skills experience of working with multipledatasets, transforming and using data – knowledge of ETL excellentknowledge of data security and integrity experience working infirst and second-line IT support teams with a passion for customerservice working with Citrix Virtual Desktops and MicrosoftApplications, you will know how to troubleshoot issues and be ableto speak to internal customers in a non-technical way manage 3rdparty suppliers to ensure that incident resolutions are achievedwithin the agreed SLA sound knowledge of IT systems, networkconfiguration, significant applications and desktop support solidunderstanding of incident management and ITIL principles excellentattention to detail, strong analytical skills along withproblem-solving and logical thinking skills strong communicationskills, both written and verbal self-motivated team player,organise own workload with minimal supervision, delivering toagreed schedules and reporting progress ability to diagnose andinvestigate issues ability to explain complex ideas to those withlimited IT and systems knowledge extraordinary customer service andrelationship management experience ability to adapt to changingpriorities and willingness to learn on the job Full benefitsavailable for the Accounting Application Support Engineer: pensionscheme group life assurance x 4 salary opportunity to purchaseadditional holiday days access to our employee benefits portal –cashback and vouchers on everyday purchases employee AssistanceProgramme employee Referral Bonus – were always looking fortalented individuals to join our team regular training anddevelopment - continuous development and support not only for yourprofessional qualifications but also for your personal goals andaspirations About us TC Group is growing and changing at quite apace!
