We are seeking a highly skilled AI-Focused Data Scientist to join their dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects in missile guidance and sensing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement AI algorithms to optimize missile guidance systems.
• Analyse and interpret complex datasets derived from infrared and radar sensing equipment.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate AI models at the FPGA level.
• Utilize Python, MATLAB, and Simulink for data analysis and simulation of guidance algorithms.
• Conduct experiments and simulations to validate AI models and methodologies.
• Work in interdisciplinary teams to drive innovation in sensor data processing and deployment.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in AI and machine learning applications for hardware, specifically at the FPGA level.
• Strong background in data science methodologies including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model validation.
• Expertise in working with infrared and radar sensing systems; familiarity with their operational principles and data characteristics.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and MATLAB; experience with Simulink is a plus.
• Solid understanding of statistics, optimization techniques, and algorithm design.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, multidimensional environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in defence industry projects or related fields.
Knowledge of missile dynamics and guidance algorithms.
Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and data engineering practices.
