We're looking for an Actuarial Manager to oversee projects and modelling exercises that will deliver data resource and predictive models, feeding into our market-leading pricing strategy.

You will have a strong understanding of the general insurance principles, delivering brilliant cost models, investigating and developing Machine Learning techniques that maximise commercial value and ensure fair outcomes for our customers.
Job Details

• You will be the technical lead across projects that create and maintain analytical tools supporting the management of our risk portfolio
• You will develop best in-class models that predict claims outcomes and fraud
• You will engineer powerful new rating factors for deployment into our rating algorithms
• You will identify, analyse and monetise new data sources
• With some management and mentorship for our junior Actuaries and Data Scientists

What we're looking for

• Newly or recently qualified Actuary
• Actuarial background in general insurance
• Technical modelling and coding skills (Python, R and SQL)
• You're a natural problem solver, innovative, and curious to spot new opportunities and enjoy engaging senior stakeholders along the journey with a brilliant communication style

Salary- Attractive salary based on experience + car allowance (pay reviews also completed each year)
