My client is looking for a passionate Supportengineer, who is looking to branch into the world of infrastructure& DevOps. Responsibilities Network Management: Oversee andmaintain the clients local network infrastructure, including VPNservers, site-to-site connections, and secure cloud access. SaaSAdministration: Configure and manage cloud-based applications suchas Microsoft 365, Mimecast, and AWS. Vendor Management: Collaboratewith external IT providers for equipment procurement,configuration, and local IT support. Compliance Support: Assist theLegal and Compliance team with technical aspects of third-party duediligence, audits, and ISO 27001 accreditation. Data Management:Develop and implement secure data storage solutions, includingrobust backup systems. Procurement: Manage supplier relationships,negotiate contracts, and procure IT equipment and services.Infrastructure Development: Build and maintain networkinfrastructure for internal and client projects. Collaboration:Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure ITsolutions prioritize security, scalability, performance, andcompatibility. Automation: Contribute to data science initiatives,CI/CD pipelines, and broader business automation projects. AcademicBackground A degree with a minimum 2:1 classification (orequivalent) and strong A-level results are preferred but notessential. Essential Requirements At least one year of network andinfrastructure administration experience. Proficiency in Windowsoperating system administration. Experience managing SaaSapplications and open-source technologies (e.g., Microsoft 365,Apache, PHP, MySQL). Expertise in email administration, security,and backup systems.
