As part of our commitment to excellence,we are seeking a talented and motivated Power BI Developer to joinour team. As the Power BI Developer within the Technology BusinessPerformance Team, you will be responsible for developing end-to-endanalytics solutions that support business intelligence, dataanalysis, and decision-making processes, e.g. designing,developing, and maintaining Power BI solutions to supportTechnology leaders develop reporting and analytics initiatives thatcan show the value of the Technology function within Informa. Youwill collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements,design data pipelines, develop analytical models and createinteractive dashboards and reports that provide actionable insightsinto business performance. Additionally, you will leverage avariety of tools and technologies, including Power BI, SQL, anddata visualization techniques, to create innovative analyticssolutions. Your Key Areas of Responsibility/Accountability Workclosely with stakeholders to gather and analyse businessrequirements, identify data sources, and define key performanceindicators (KPIs) for analytics solutions. Collaborate withstakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements, translatethem into technical specifications, and design scalable datamodels. Design, develop, and implement end-to-end data pipelines toextract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources intoanalytical models and visualization tools. Develop and maintaindata models, analytical algorithms, and machine learning models tosupport predictive and prescriptive analytics use cases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate analyticssolutions into business processes, applications, anddecision-making workflows. Design, develop, and deploy interactivedashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as PowerBI, or custom-built solutions. Extract, transform, and load (ETL)data from various sources into Power BI Develop complexcalculations, measures, and KPIs (e.g. using DAX) to derivemeaningful insights from raw data. Design intuitive, user-friendlydashboards and reports with interactive features to facilitate dataexploration and analysis. Implement best practices for datavisualization, including selecting appropriate chart types, colors,and layouts to effectively communicate insights. Conductperformance tuning and optimization of Power BI reports to ensurespeed, efficiency, and usability. Provide technical expertise andsupport to end-users, including troubleshooting issues, conductingtraining sessions, and promoting self-service analytics. Stayinformed about industry trends, new features, and best practices inPower BI and data visualization techniques. Your Key Outputs andOutcomes Development and deployment of end-to-end analyticssolutions that meet or exceed stakeholder requirements and businessobjectives. Develop and deploy interactive Power BI dashboards andreports that provide actionable insights Delivery of actionableinsights and recommendations that drive informed decision-makingand business performance improvement initiatives. Enablestakeholders to make data-driven decisions by delivering intuitive,user-friendly data visualizations and analytics solutions. Improveoperational efficiency and effectiveness through the automation ofmanual reporting processes and the implementation of self-serviceanalytics capabilities. Enhance data quality and integrity byensuring accurate and reliable data sources and data models.Measures of Success Timely delivery of high-quality analyticssolutions solutions that meet or exceed stakeholder requirements.Adoption and utilization of Power BI tools and analytics solutionsby end-users, demonstrated by increased engagement andsatisfaction. Continuous improvement in the performance andusability of Power BI reports, as measured by user feedback andperformance metrics. Contribution to the achievement of businessobjectives and key performance indicators (KPIs) throughdata-driven insights and analytics Qualifications Ideally you willhold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,Business Analytics, or related field. Some previous experience as aPower BI Developer or similar role, with a strong track record ofdesigning and delivering Power BI solutions in a businessenvironment. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction,transformation, and manipulation. Strong understanding of datamodeling concepts and experience with building complex data modelsin Power BI. Expertise in DAX formulas for creating calculatedcolumns, measures, and advanced calculations. Experience with datavisualization best practices and designing intuitive, user-friendlydashboards. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with akeen attention to detail. Strong communication and collaborationskills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Self-motivated and proactive attitude with a commitment tocontinuous learning and professional development. PreferredQualifications: Experience with other data visualization tools suchas Tableau, QlikView, or Looker. Knowledge of data warehousingconcepts and experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g.,Azure, AWS). Familiarity with programming languages such as Pythonor R for data analysis and manipulation. Certifications in Power BIor related fields (e.g., MCSA: BI Reporting, MCSE: Data Managementand Analytics).
