The other division provides regularsubscription services, again to a wide variety of clients andacross a similar range of sectors. This role is part of thesubscription services division. What we’re looking for Anopportunity has arisen for an experienced oil industry professionalto join an established and successful team of consultants andanalysts covering international crude and refined products markets.This is a senior hire with the potential to develop to a leadershiprole within the group. The successful candidate must be able todemonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of internationaloil markets and in particular, refining and refined productsmarkets. You will work with a small but growing team that providesregular research-based analysis and forecasts of internationalcrude, refined products and LPG markets. Currently, the focus is onthe preparation and delivery of monthly products that provideclients with a forward view of supply/demand, trade and price inthe short term. The team is now developing an initiative tosignificantly enhance and expand coverage and analysis of long-termoil and energy markets and trends. A key focus will be the impactand implications of the energy transition on global refining, itsoperators and markets. Responsibilities - Drive the direction andfocus of the team in long-term analysis and forecasting - Developnew products and deliverables to commercialise the new analysis andforecasts - Communicate analytical outcomes and narratives tosubscribers and internal stakeholders, in both written and verbalform - Help develop data sets and models to support the forecastingof supply, demand, capacity, imports and exports, price, productioncosts and margin for crude and refined products - Organisecooperation and interaction with teams covering other fossil fuelsand new energy forms - Identify new areas of analysis andassociated business opportunities - Pursue the development andcommercialisation of new products What we’re looking for in you -Preferably 20+ years of experience in or covering the downstreamoil industry - A deep knowledge and understanding of global crude,refined products and wider energy markets - A proven track recordin an analytical role, in another consultancy or industry player -Strong leadership and motivational skills - An entrepreneurialmindset and the ability to create content from scratch -Intellectually curious and able to demonstrate structured problemsolving and analytical skills - Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills - Strong IT skills including advanced Exceland PowerPoint - Ability to handle multiple tasks to deadline andto meet targets What’s in it for you Our rapidly growing,award-winning business offers a dynamic environment for talented,entrepreneurial professionals to achieve results and grow theircareers.
