Using a rigorous hypothesis-based approach, ourstrategy team builds value-driven analytical solutions creating amarket-leading edge with our investment team and clients.Responsibilities : Partner cross functionally to buildvalue-creating analytical and technical solutions for Cerberusportfolio companies and clients, using a rigorous hypotheses-basedapproach Perform data analysis to support the identification andprioritization of value creation initiatives within the Cerberusportfolio and client-base Partner with technical teams to build asolution development plan, and then support with execution throughto rigorous assessment of results, with strong focus on quantifyingthe business and financial impact Lead and create deliverables thatsupport successful solution deployment and communication to seniorstakeholders; including development of data visualizationdashboards, PowerPoint presentations, Excel models Break downcomplex structures and problems into succinct components for arange of industries. Clients, and colleagues at all levels ofseniority. Be comfortable explain technical data science models toa non-technical audience Support in the development and deliverypresentations to client Executives and Investment Leads to definestrategies, the associated costs and benefits, and work productupdates Compile and assess market, company, and competitor researchto support business development activities and strategy developmentSupport investment due diligences; support with hypothesesgeneration and testing through desktop research, data analytics andvisualization Business Knowledge / Technical Skills: Genuinelyinterested in how current and emerging technology basedcapabilities can transform companies and generate value Stronginterpersonal and communication skills, comfortable communicatingacross all levels of the organization and seamlessly interfacebetween both Technical and Business Executive Teams Strongquantitative and analytical skills – able to quickly draw insightfrom research and data analysis Advanced Microsoft Excel andPowerPoint skills required Experience using Data Visualizationsoftware (e.g. PowerBI) strongly preferred Other advanced dataanalytics skills a plus (e.g. SQL, Python etc.) Strong commercialorientation, with proven ability to successfully apply data-drivenapproaches to business challenges and communicate insight tobusiness stakeholders Hypothesis-driven thinker – able to analyzedata, form and test hypotheses in a logical structure Project-basedexperience with a technology, data, and/or analytics focusUnderstanding of financial statements, metrics, and theirconnectivity to business strategy Entrepreneurial, creativeself-starter; comfortable with ambiguity Ability to own projectsstart to finish with limited direction or oversight Workingknowledge of project management fundamentals including agile andcontinuous improvement approaches Ability to manage multipleprojects or priorities simultaneously Interest in and understandingof modern technology platforms, tools, and techniques (i.e. Cloud,Machine Learning, etc.) Professional Experience & Education: 3years of experience at a strategy consulting firm, internalstrategy/analytics role, or financial services firm bank.
