We provide a consultative approach thatdelivers results and adds value to our client programmes. We areseeking an enthusiastic and motivated account executive to join ourteam. This is a hybrid role that allows you to work remotely andfrom our London office. You’ll be learning from seasoned professionals withdeep expertise in biotech and healthcare communications, helpingyou grow your career in an exciting and constantly evolvingindustry Key responsibilities Work closely with the team to deliverexcellent communication strategies for clients. Develop andmaintain close client relationships, ensuring regular interaction.Develop and maintain close media relationships to identify bothearned and paid media opportunities. Use digital and social mediacampaigns to support client objectives. Copywrite/copyedit clientmaterials e.g. press releases, web copy, articles, marketingemailers etc. Proactively suggest creative ideas that enhanceclient PR/marketing programmes e.g. spotting media opportunities,commissioning research, speaker opportunities, award submissions.Support new business meetings and marketing initiativesRequirements At least one year experience in a PR or marketingcommunications role, or as a journalist Understanding of theHealthcare and Life Sciences industry or demonstrated interest inthe field Some media relations skills First degree in a lifesciences subject or equivalent demonstrable experience Excellentwriting, communications and interpersonal skills Advanced knowledgeof Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)Experience using WordPress to manage client and Scius’ websiteAdept at Canva and competence in managing social media platformsExperience in leveraging digital tools for communication strategiesKnowledge of Roxhill and Globenewswire a plus but not a necessityAn individual who can work flexibly within a team, is self-drivenbut will seek help when appropriate If you’re excited about usingyour communication skills to promote cutting-edge science, we’dlove to hear from you To apply, send us up to 500 words on howartificial intelligence is helping to shape the future ofhealthcare, as well as your resume and compensation expectations tokatjasciuscommunications.com.
