This is a hybrid role that allows you to work remotely andfrom our London office. You’ll be learning from seasoned professionals withdeep expertise in biotech and healthcare communications, helpingyou grow your career in an exciting and constantly evolvingindustry Key responsibilities - Work closely with the team todeliver excellent communication strategies for clients. - Developand maintain close client relationships, ensuring regularinteraction. - Develop and maintain close media relationships toidentify both earned and paid media opportunities. - Use digitaland social media campaigns to support client objectives. -Copywrite/copyedit client materials e.g. press releases, web copy,articles, marketing emailers etc. - Proactively suggest creativeideas that enhance client PR/marketing programmes e.g. spottingmedia opportunities, commissioning research, speaker opportunities,award submissions. - Support new business meetings and marketinginitiatives Requirements - At least one year experience in a PR ormarketing communications role, or as a journalist - Understandingof the Healthcare and Life Sciences industry or demonstratedinterest in the field - Some media relations skills - First degreein a life sciences subject or equivalent demonstrable experience -Excellent writing, communications and interpersonal skills -Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel andOutlook) - Experience using WordPress to manage client and Scius’website - Adept at Canva and competence in managing social mediaplatforms - Experience in leveraging digital tools forcommunication strategies - Knowledge of Roxhill and Globenewswire aplus but not a necessity - An individual who can work flexiblywithin a team, is self-driven but will seek help when appropriateIf you’re excited about using your communication skills to promotecutting-edge science, we’d love to hear from you!
