They are now seeking a Senior Machine Learning Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:

As a Senior Machine Learning Software Engineer, your role will be pivotal in delivering insights to corporates, investors, and governments mobilising strategies in the climate transition. You will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing software solutions across our machine learning and data stack. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing our data collection processes, implementing AI models, maintaining our ML ops infrastructure, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

  • Implement web scraping and other collection techniques to increase the speed, efficiency, and breadth of data collection.
  • Implement AI, natural language processing, and machine learning models to extract, classify, and transform data.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining the company's ML ops infrastructure.
  • Analyze the performance of the machine learning and data stack to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Take initiative to develop new features and elevate the product.
  • Work closely with a small, international team.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Machine Learning Software Engineer position brings a wealth of experience in software engineering with a focus on machine learning. Your deep expertise in Python development coupled with your experience in AI and natural language processing will be key assets. You have a proven track record of developing and maintaining production-grade software. Your interest in working for a fast-paced startup environment combined with your academic background in Computer Science or Engineering sets you apart.

  • 8+ years experience as a Software Engineer, Machine Learning Engineer, Data Engineer or equivalent.
  • Deep expertise in Python development.
  • Experience in machine learning / natural language processing / AI.
  • Proven history developing and maintaining production-grade software.
  • Interest in working for a fast-moving startup.
  • A MSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field.
