Overview

Senior Recruitment Consultant – Artificial Intelligence, DACH

Manchester City Centre - Hybrid or Remote

Excellent Base + Commission up to 50% + Benefits

We’re currently looking for a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our AI team, working with some of the most technically advanced AI companies, focused on the DACH region.

There is the opportunity to specialise in software, data engineering, machine learning or product.

This role is suited to an experienced consultant who operates with autonomy, values depth in their market, and wants to build long-term credibility in AI.

What you’ll do

As a senior consultant, you’ll take full ownership of your market and operate with a high degree of trust from day one. You will:

  • Deliver the full 360 recruitment cycle, from sourcing, to BD, to candidate management, to ongoing account management
  • Autonomously negotiate terms and manage commercial conversations with clients
  • Devise and execute your own client development strategy, either aligned to existing team playbooks and successes or shaped by your own experience
  • Inherit and grow established client relationships across the UK AI ecosystem
  • Work alongside a strong AI team with established credibility in the space
  • Contribute to scaling a specialist desk with the support of an experienced and supportive manager

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone with at least one year of recruitment experience in-agency, ideally within software, AI, or a related technical market. We have opportunities to specialise in software, product, data engineering or machine learning.

Beyond experience, we’re interested in how you approach your market and your work. The people who do well here are genuinely invested in the industries they recruit for, and take the time to understand how their market works, who and what shapes it, and where it’s heading in the future.

Practically, that might mean engaging with industry voices, following thought leaders, keeping up with developments in talent and people strategy, and taking the time to stay close to what’s happening in your space.

We’re interested in you being able to demonstrate what gives you an edge over the next recruiter calling the same prospect, and where you feel you add value rather than just facilitate transactions.

Aside from embedding yourself in your market, we look for people who believe in recruitment built on honesty, integrity, autonomy, and trust. You’ll fit in here if you’re someone who cares about the long-term impact you have on your market, and if you’re motivated by doing high-quality work properly rather than chasing short-term wins.

If you’re someone who wants to be seen as part of the industry you serve, not just adjacent to it, you’ll feel at home at Cubiq.

Perks and benefits

  • A market-leading, uncapped commission structure with no threshold, offering up to 50%
  • Clear and transparent routes to directorship, with individualised progression plans
  • Flexible and hybrid working arrangements
  • City-centre office with on-site gym, breakout spaces, pool table, bike storage, and on-site parking
  • Two annual holiday incentives, quarterly achievers club, late starts, early finishes, and additional performance incentives

Don’t see something that’s important to you? We’re pragmatic about our packages and do our best to tailor them for the right hires – just speak with us if something’s missing.

Where to Advertise AI Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Advertising AI jobs in the UK requires a different approach to most technical hiring. The candidate pool is small, highly informed and in demand across multiple sectors simultaneously. General job boards reach a broad audience but lack the specificity that AI professionals expect — and the filtering mechanisms they rely on. Specialist platforms, direct outreach and academic channels each serve a different part of the market. This guide, published by ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise AI roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about time-to-hire across different role types.

New AI Employers to Watch in 2026: UK and Global Companies Reshaping AI Careers

The artificial intelligence job market in the UK is evolving at an extraordinary pace. With record-breaking investment, government backing, and a surge in enterprise adoption, the landscape of AI employers is shifting rapidly. For candidates exploring opportunities on ArtificialIntelligenceJobs.co.uk, understanding who is hiring next is just as important as understanding what skills are in demand. In this article, we explore the new and emerging AI employers to watch in 2026, focusing on organisations that have recently secured funding, won major contracts, or expanded their UK footprint. From cutting-edge startups to global giants doubling down on Britain, these companies represent the next wave of AI career opportunities.

How Many AI Tools Do You Need to Know to Get an AI Job?

If you are job hunting in AI right now it can feel like you are drowning in tools. Every week there is a new framework, a new “must-learn” platform or a new productivity app that everyone on LinkedIn seems to be using. The result is predictable: job seekers panic-learn a long list of tools without actually getting better at delivering outcomes. Here is the truth most hiring managers will quietly agree with. They do not hire you because you know 27 tools. They hire you because you can solve a problem, communicate trade-offs, ship something reliable and improve it with feedback. Tools matter, but only in service of outcomes. So how many AI tools do you actually need to know? For most AI job seekers: fewer than you think. You need a tight core toolkit plus a role-specific layer. Everything else is optional. This guide breaks it down clearly, gives you a simple framework to choose what to learn and shows you how to present your toolset on your CV, portfolio and interviews.
