Senior Machine Learning Engineer
London, Hybrid (Twice Per Week)

Up to £110,000 + 20% Bonus

This is an opportunity to take ownership of end to end machine learning delivery in a role that blends technical depth with real world impact. You will work on production grade ML systems that directly improve operational and commercial outcomes, with the backing of a highly skilled, collaborative data team.

Their work spans the full lifecycle of data products, from discovery through to deployment, with a strong focus on building robust, scalable solutions. The Role
You will play a key role in designing, building, and productionising machine learning solutions across a range of use cases. Working closely with data scientists, data engineers, and delivery colleagues, you will help set technical standards and ensure solutions are production ready.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and deploying machine learning models into live production environments
  • Designing and maintaining MLOps workflows, including model lifecycle management
  • Developing APIs and containerised services to support ML products
  • Implementing DevOps best practices across development and production
  • Collaborating cross functionally to align data, modelling, and business requirements

Your Skills and Experience

  • Strong commercial experience developing machine learning solutions in Python
  • Solid understanding of the Python ML ecosystem including libraries such as NumPy, pandas, and scikit learn, with exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow
  • Experience building and deploying containerised services and APIs
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data driven application development
  • Hands on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
  • Familiarity with MLOps tooling, workflow orchestration, or feature stores is highly beneficial
