Company

This company is building the future of events & fundraising technology. They help charities raise millions of pounds through auctions, donations, ticketing, prize draws, fundraising pages and event management. Having already helped raise over £250 million, they're continuing to grow and are investing heavily in product and AI to make fundraising smarter, simpler and more effective.

Role

They're looking for an ambitious Associate Product Manager (AI & Platform) who is excited by technology, passionate about solving customer problems and eager to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to accelerate their product management career in a fast-growing global SaaS business. You'll work directly with their founders, developers and customer success team to help improve and develop their platform. No two days are the same. One day you'll be speaking to customers about new ideas, the next you'll be writing product requirements, testing new features or researching how AI could improve their platform. You'll be given real responsibility from day one while being supported by experienced founders who have built fundraising technology for over 15 years.

Duties

  • Helping prioritise product improvements.
  • Testing new features before release.
  • Sprint planning and managing product requirements.
  • Working closely with developers throughout each sprint.
  • Monitoring customer feedback and product performance.
  • Helping launch new features.
  • Keeping product documentation up to date.
  • Researching competitors and industry trends.
  • Exploring how AI can improve both their products and their internal ways of working.
  • Translating business goals into technical priorities and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Defining and measuring product metrics against business goals.
  • Help shape and communicate their 3-month and 12-month product roadmap.
  • Work closely with their technical team to balance technical debt and feature development.

Experience

  • 1-3 years' experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, Project Management, Customer Success or a similar SaaS role.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and AI - they're looking for someone who is naturally curious about AI and already uses tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Cursor or Copilot to help them work smarter. You don't need to be an AI expert, but They'd love someone who enjoys experimenting and finding practical ways AI can improve products, documentation, customer support and day-to-day productivity.
  • They use HubSpot across sales, marketing and customer success, so an understanding of CRM systems, workflows or automation would be helpful.
  • An eye for design and UI/UX.
  • Comfortable working with software developers.
  • Confidence speaking with customers.

Other Stuff

NB: for non-UK Citizens; we cannot accept applications from anyone requiring sponsorship (now or in the future) for UK permanent employment status. If you are utilising a work visa this must allow you to work in the UK unrestricted for at least the next 5 years.

If you have been watching AI job boards over the past year, one title keeps surfacing again and again: the forward deployed engineer, or FDE. It has gone from a niche term known mainly to Palantir alumni to arguably the hottest role in the entire AI hiring market. Job postings for forward deployed engineers have exploded, salaries have climbed past levels most software engineers will ever see, and the biggest names in AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Salesforce, Databricks and Palantir — are all competing for the same small pool of talent. So what exactly is an AI forward deployed engineer, why has demand surged so dramatically, and how do you position yourself to land one of these roles? This guide breaks it all down for AI engineers, software engineers and data scientists looking at their next move.
