Multiverse is the upskilling platform for AI and Tech adoption.

We have partnered with 1,500+ companies to deliver a new kind of learning that's transforming today’s workforce.

Our upskilling apprenticeships are designed for people of any age and career stage to build critical AI, data, and tech skills. Our learners have driven $2bn+ ROI for their employers, using the skills they’ve learned to improve productivity and measurable performance.

In April 2026, we announced $70 million in strategic funding, led by Schroders Capital, with participation from StepStone Group, Lightspeed Venture Partners and General Catalyst. At an increased valuation of $2.1bn, the round makes us Europe’s first EdTech double unicorn.

But we aren’t stopping there. With a strong operational footprint and 800+ employees, we have ambitious plans to continue scaling. We’re building a world where tech skills unlock people’s potential and output.

Join Multiverse and power our mission to equip the workforce to win in the AI era.

Why this role exists

Multiverse builds AI products for the future of work, and we want our own People team to run on the same principles we sell to customers. This role is about building an AI-native People function from the ground up, with someone who thinks in systems: workflows, guardrails, tasks and constraints, rather than one-off fixes. We care more about how you learn and build than how many years you've clocked up. If you've built something you can show us, whether that's a tool, a process, or a system that scaled, bring it. That's a bigger part of the interview than a standard work history.

What you'll actually do

A People Product Lead bridges People strategy with hands-on technical product management. You will build scalable foundations for internal operations such as core HR systems, automation, access, and data flows supporting ~1000 employees across the lifecycle

  • Define the long-term vision, strategy, and quarterly roadmap for internal People Ops technology and platforms including success measures for the domain.

  • Build scalable foundations across People systems that support the employee lifecycle, from core People platforms to integrations, data flows, identity and automation.

  • Make high-quality trade-offs across build, buy and integrate decisions, balancing user experience, scalability, reliability, security and compliance.

  • Lead through influence by aligning senior stakeholders across People, Engineering, Security, Compliance, Legal, Analytics and Operations.

  • Improve productivity and reduce friction for Multiverse employees by simplifying processes and creating intuitive, reliable technology experiences.

  • Drive measurable impact by defining KPIs, learning from delivery and continuously improving how the domain operates.

You will be successful if…

  • You have 5+ years working in HR, in technology, analytics, or operations

  • You think in systems: workflows, guardrails, constraints, and how the parts fit together

  • You have a strong track record of learning fast and applying it

  • You've built something real you can walk us through: a tool, a process, or a system you scaled

This role won’t work for you if…

  • You're uncomfortable working with technology and automation

  • You prefer high-touch, service-led processes over product-led ways of working

Benefits

  • Time off - 27 days holiday, plus 5 additional days off: 1 life event day, 2 volunteer days, 2 company-wide wellbeing days (M-Powered Weekend) and 8 bank holidays per year

  • Health & Wellness- private medical Insurance with Bupa, a medical cashback scheme, life insurance, gym membership & wellness resources through Wellhub and access to Spill - all in one mental health support

  • Hybrid work offering - for most roles we collaborate in the office three days per week with the exception of Coaches and Instructors who collaborate in the office once a month

  • Work-from-anywhere scheme- you'll have the opportunity to work from anywhere, up to 10 days per year

  • Space to connect: Beyond the desk, we make time for weekly catch-ups, seasonal celebrations, and have a kitchen that’s always stocked!

What Is an AI Forward Deployed Engineer? The Fastest-Growing Job in AI for 2026

If you have been watching AI job boards over the past year, one title keeps surfacing again and again: the forward deployed engineer, or FDE. It has gone from a niche term known mainly to Palantir alumni to arguably the hottest role in the entire AI hiring market. Job postings for forward deployed engineers have exploded, salaries have climbed past levels most software engineers will ever see, and the biggest names in AI — OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Salesforce, Databricks and Palantir — are all competing for the same small pool of talent. So what exactly is an AI forward deployed engineer, why has demand surged so dramatically, and how do you position yourself to land one of these roles? This guide breaks it all down for AI engineers, software engineers and data scientists looking at their next move.
