We are looking for an experiencedData & Analytics Manager to join a growing Data & Analytics function in Belfast.

This is ahands-on player-manager role combining Power BI development, analytics, AI, stakeholder management and delivery leadership. You'll work closely with senior leaders and teams across the business to understand commercial and operational challenges, identify where data can add value and build practical solutions that improve decision-making.

The role is particularly suited to someone who enjoys being close to both the business and the technology. You'll continue to work hands-on with Power BI and data while exploring new ways to useAI, HTML and interactive data visualisation to move beyond traditional reporting.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business, commercial and operational challenges.
  • Translate business questions into practical data, analytics and reporting solutions.
  • Develop and maintainPower BI dashboards, reports and semantic models.
  • Work hands-on withPower BI Service, Power Query and DAX.
  • Analyse complex datasets usingSQL to identify trends, opportunities, risks and performance drivers.
  • Manage the Power BI environment, including workspaces, access, refreshes, deployment and reporting standards.
  • Develop more dynamicHTML-based dashboards and analytical applications, moving beyond traditional Power BI and Excel reporting.
  • Explore and applygenerative AI, Copilot and AI agents to improve reporting, analysis and business processes.
  • Rapidly prototype new analytical solutions and turn successful ideas into scalable products.
  • Work with Data Engineering, Technology, Security and Governance teams to ensure solutions are reliable and appropriately controlled.
  • Manage the analytics and reporting backlog, prioritising work based on business value.
  • Coordinate and support analysts, developers and data engineers across delivery.
  • Review technical outputs and maintain high standards around data quality, performance and governance.
  • Present insights and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Coach and develop members of the wider Data & Analytics team.
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combinesstrong technical capability with commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

You'll ideally have:
  • 6+ years' experience across data, analytics, business intelligence or a related discipline.
  • Strong, hands-onPower BI experience.
  • Advanced knowledge ofPower BI Service, DAX, Power Query and semantic modelling.
  • StrongSQL skills and experience working with complex datasets.
  • Experience building dashboards and analytical solutions that have been adopted by the business.
  • Experience working directly withsenior stakeholders and business leaders.
  • Strong understanding of commercial data, such asrevenue, costs, margins, overheads, clients or operational performance.
  • Experience managing or coordinating analysts, BI developers, data professionals or wider delivery teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and put forward new ideas.
  • A proactive and independent approach, with the ability to take a business problem and work out how data and technology can solve it.
  • Experience with modern cloud data platforms, ideallyMicrosoft Fabric.
  • Practical experience usingAI, generative AI, Copilot or AI agents to support analytics, reporting or business processes.
Desirable Experience
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript or experience building web-based dashboards.
  • Experience with Python, notebooks or other analytical tools.
  • Experience with forecasting, predictive analytics or machine learning.
  • Experience with data governance, data quality and information security.
  • Experience working with CRM, finance, sales or operational datasets.
  • Background inprofessional services, financial services, consultancy or another complex B2B environment.
